Do you ever feel out of your depth?

During a family holiday near Lake Annecy, my three kids were astounded by the paragliders we walked up the hill to watch launch.  Such an amazing sport- technical skill, courage and the ability to fly free of the bonds of life for a moment- flying at 1500m on a super thin canopy.  Lots of style and a dose of guts, these pilots just sailed off the mountain and over the turquoise lake, it felt like poetry in motion.

Lots to think about from this experience: take the leap or train hard to feel in control, or something in between; whatever works for you.

I loved the sparkling colours, human endeavour and sheer indomitable nature.  Also incredibly grateful to be immersed in greenery with the people I love, celebrating brave steps made with humility and grace.
